The New Hairspray: Making The Switch.

If there is anything that isn't fully fabulous on the beauty market yet, it has to be hairspray. I don't know about you, but I've never actually found a hairspray that I like so much that I'd happily buy it again. I eventually caught myself thinking 'Am I actually using this correctly?' even though the many YouTube tutorials say I am, and I then realised that maybe hairspray's just aren't strong enough for me! 

Benefit's Sugarbomb Blush.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry its been a few days, I've been distracted + busy sorting out my uni stuff. I'm going up on Saturday so things will probably be all over the place until then, I hope that's okay! Today I'm coming to you with my review of Benefit's Sugarbomb blush, I was lucky enough to receive this for my birthday, and I love it, so I thought "why not do a review?". 

CHANEL VITALUMIÉRE Review.

So finally, here it is, my review of CHANEL's VITALUMIÉRE foundation. I've wanted to do this review ever since I got the foundation a few weeks back, but I didn't because I wanted to fully test it out and make up my mind... and I think I have come to my conclusion. 

MAC Lipstick - Hue.

I once loathed nude shades because I used to think they looked kind of trashy and a little bit slutty. I have no idea why I came to this conclusion, it was all in my head, of course, but I just never was attracted to nudes for that reason, and what a fool I was. Since I wasn't one for nudes, I hadn't even tried it on before until I went into MAC looking for a shade to try out. My friend Kathryn already had Hue, and it looks really nice on her so I tried it on, and I loved it. 

Signature Scent - CHANEL NO. 5.

Many believe signature scents are what make people different from one another, and I happen to be one of them. Signature scents aren't just there to make you feel and smell nice, in fact, in my opinion, the better your perfume the classier you are. 

Real Techniques Dupes.

Everyone's got to love Sam + Nic's fabulous creations- the Real Techniques Brushes. And with such good quality for such little price where can you go wrong? The only disappointment I have is their lack in smaller brushes, you know, smaller ones for your face and eye makeup... and I seem to have found some fabulous Real Technique dupe style brushes that fit those specifics exactly. 
If you haven't heard already... Ebay have some wonderful Real Techniques dupes available here, and since I already have the majority of their brushes I wasn't in need of buying them (I'd thought I'd share them just in case you didn't know, they're worth buying if you're looking to test them out or something!). 
Since I was in need of some smaller brushes, I decided to purchase these on their own for £2. 33. They arrived in good time + were not damaged from travel or anything like that. They were basically perfect! These brushes are so soft and handy to use for concealer and eye shadow bases and things like that. You should definitely check them out! 

Garnier Micellar Clensing Water.

Today I'm talking about a popular product that's been raved about recently on blogs. I thought I'd try it out and see for myself...
I've seen so much online about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, and just Micellar Water in general. It has a very strange name, not really that memorable, but apparently it was used by French women before it kicked off in England. I'm crazy about chic French style so obviously I was attracted instantly. 
The first thing I have to say about the cleansing water is that it could actually be easily mistaken for water. The bottle is kind of water bottle shaped, and the scentless product is clear and has a watery consistence. I think that this alone is quite unique and drawing!  
This cleansing water works as a brilliant eye makeup remover... I'm serious... it does the job better than actual remover! This, of course, is only the case when your eye makeup isn't too thick, but if you had thick makeup on it probably would be a nightmare. 
The only negative I have to say is that you do need to use about two or three cotton pads (in my case, anyway) for it to really cleanse your skin. However, I can overlook this due to the fact its only £3 in Superdrug! 
As for the cleansing part of the product, it makes my skin feel really soft and ready for other treatments. Its just simple to use and is a quick fix for when you want to wake up your skin!

The Body Shop: Moringa.

My obsession with The Body Shop started around Christmas time last year, when I was gifted with so many delightful products from there. I completely fell in love with the Passion Fruit, the Peach and the Satsuma smells, but what enthused me the most were the Moringa products.

I go through phases with what smells I prefer, sometimes I really crave a fruity smell and sometimes I fancy more of a nutty scent. But something that I just can’t seem to grow out of is Moringa, its just so fresh and natural and it makes me feel so refreshed morning and night.

My favourite product from the Moringa range has to be the body butter. The consistency is beautiful and, in my opinion, it is creamier than the other body butters from The Body Shop. It glides fabulously on my skin, and it goes a long way too!

Daily Moisturiser - The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream.

A few months ago I read that if you get frequent blemishes, change your moisturiser. Quite sceptically, I decided to do so and I purchased the Vitamin E Moisture Cream from The Body Shop (£10.00) in Newcastle. To be honest I wasn't expecting amazing results, I've never been one to buy expensive moisturisers because I just don't see the point. I don't have major oily, dry, or sensitive skin and the worst conditions I ever get only include a little bit of tightness after a long bath.

This product completely changed the amount of blemishes I got on a weekly basis, which was so impressive for the price, and even though each container only has 50ml of product, it goes a long way. This scentless product, made for all skin types, is used twice a day (morning and night) and it keeps my skin in great condition. Yes, I do get a few blemishes still, but I wouldn't be normal if I did. 

I realise that not many people actually review this product, maybe because of the amount of product you get, but its definitely worth the chance for the price! Honestly, if you have skin like I do, this moisturiser will probably be perfect for you too.
