My Hair Styler Collection.
Hello readers! I've wanted to share my hair styler collection with you all since I started blogging but inspiration for other posts got in the way. Since I'm (kind of) getting back into the swing of things since coming back from Turkey, I've decided to post this now as inspiration is a little low!
Over the years I've collected a nice range of Babyliss hair stylers, I have one (or three) for every occasion. I also have a couple that aren't Babyliss which are featured in this post too. I wont review each product completely, I've decided to give them a mark out of 5 instead and a little description why, so that if you're interested you can read my opinion quickly. I hope you enjoy!
LEE STAFFORD MY BIG FAT HAIR TONG 2/5.
I'm always trying to find ways to make my hair look smooth and voluminous without the hassle (like everyone is!), so after some research I bought this. The barrel gets super hot and does the job really nicely. Saying this though, its nothing too special really, and I'm not really fond of the pink coating the handle has. I use this about once a month when I don't feel like using any of my other volume stylers.
BABYLISS DRY AND CURL HAIR DRYER 4/5.
I have nothing to say about this hair dryer other than its the best one I've ever owned. I got this for Christmas last year, and it comes with a diffuser too which is good if I fancy a change. It's sleek looking and powerful. the one negativity I have though is that the cord isn't the longest, but I have an extension so its usually not a problem for me anyway. Get it here.
BABYLISS BOUTIQUE SALON SOFT WAVES 5/5.
I have to say this is probably my most used hair styler out of them all. It creates volume, and a nice smooth curl in eight seconds. It came with a case too so I can take it anywhere without worrying about damage and I can store it easily without wires getting tangled! Get it here.
BABYLISS THERMO CERAMIC ROLLERS 4/5.
Again, something I purchased to add more volume to my hair. These rollers are my first set of heated ones, so I decided to get BaByliss because I know they would be good. These work brilliantly and I find that they work best when hair is a little damp, because it helps to keep them curled for longer. I leave them in for as long as possible. Usually around 2 hours. Get them here.
BABYLISS BIG HAIR 1/5.
I used to adore this styler when I was in college. I used it every morning before I left the house. This probably is the worst BaByliss product I own though. It does what it says on the tin and all, but the barrel actually stopped turning after about a month, so I wouldn't recommend it. Get it here.
BABYLISS CURLING WAND 4/5.
This little thing has been loyal to me for years. It creates such a lovely curl that lasts all day or evening. I find the curls are still in tact even the next two days after! The one negative to this product, however, is that when you're curling your hair its easy to accidentally press the off button, so I have to be constantly checking to make sure I haven't turned it off! Get it here.
BABYLISS ROOT BOOST 1/5.
I went through a phase of using this styler through college, and for some reason every time I used it you could see the little crimps under my hair. Even when you can't see them, you have to make sure you put quite a thick layer of hair over the top, resulting in the hair volumizing outwards rather than upwards. There may be a knack to it, but I haven't found it just yet. Please let me know if you have any tips + tricks! Get it here.
BABYLISS HOT AIR STRAIGHTENER 4/5.
This is a quick alternative to straightening your hair after you've washed it without having to fiddle around with a barrel brush. You blow dry your hair through the little rectangles and grip your hair with the bristles. It dries my hair quite quickly and makes it look really sleek and smooth. I do recommend wearing a heat protection glove because my hand always gets super hot from the hair dryer.
What are your favourite hair stylers + your tips & tricks for using them?
You have such a lovely collection! Mine's simply two hairdryers and two pairs of straighteners which I try to use to achieve different styles! The hot air straightener & big air sound so perfect for the looks I love! x

Thank you! How come you have two of both?! x
DeleteI have two hairdryers mainly because they were just randomly bought for me, haha, but they're both good for different styles (like one is so much better for if I want to dry my hair straight and the other curly!) & both my straighteners are different in size - one huge and one smaller! x
DeleteThat's good then, kind of like a diffuser and a regular head I guess! I have a little travel one too but it was like £5 and its not very good cause my hairs so long that it gets trapped in it!
DeleteI have nothing! I used to have a hair dryer, but the English plug doesn't work in the UK and even with an adapter, the voltage is wrong!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh how do you live? My hairdryer is definitely a need, my hair would be so untidy without it!
