I have a strong dedication toward TV shows, even more than films, because they last longer and provide longer lasting happiness and interest, leaving space for more intense obsessions...
GOSSIP GIRL. Could this be anything but obvious? Gossip Girl is basically every fashion girls dream, Blair Waldorf is my main hero, every time I watch it I feel the need to go out and buy some Hydrangeas. I think one of the reasons why my favourite colour is blue is because of Blair's room! Sometimes I even want to be Chuck Bass, just because I'm so envious of his clothes... his style is amazing and Ed Westwick is even better.
SEX AND THE CITY. Yet another completely obvious choice, and a clear all-time favourite of a lot of women. Even though I do enjoy the story line for GG, SATC holds my attention much longer in that department... I'm completely attached to Carrie, as well as Charlotte and Harry's relationship. In relation to style, I prefer Charlotte's style over the others because she has the cutest outfits! I relate to Carrie much more than any other character on the show because she's not the richest and she doesn't have an "easy life", but she makes it anyway in the end. I've actually heard rumors that SATC might be coming back... Let's hope its true!
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. I started watching The Vampire Diaries when it first came out but lost interest. I rekindled my love for the show when I started my second year at uni. By the time Christmas was over I was fully caught up and obsessed in the world of vampires and werewolves and everything else. My favourite character is Katherine... her hair is beautiful, her style is edgy and she's such a mysterious character!
AMERICAN HORROR STORY. I'm actually still watching this show, well, I'm having a break, because I want to have extra episodes to watch just in case I get obsessed again (is that bad?). I watched the whole of season 1 in two and a half days and stopped after season 2 because I really was going too far. I'd sit on my phone and search the show on Wikipedia and IMDB every hour, and I'd go completely reblog happy on Tumblr, it was all I talked about. I adore Lana's style in this, everything about her style is appealing to me- even her nails.
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. This show has been a long time love of mine, I so wish I read the books beforehand. One day I just felt like watching it because there was a little bit of hype on Tumblr, next thing I knew I was waiting for season 2 to come out. My preferred character is Hanna just because shes funny and different, but I prefer Mona's fashion over all. I've followed this show for a while and as every episode ends I just can't wait to watch more.
What are your favourite TV shows?

I've decided that I'm going to start a new series aimed at people like me who can't afford to repurchase expensive products. Here is my list of drugstore products I'd repurchase and why!
I thought I'd start with a hair product, the got2b Beach Matt Texturizing Salt Spray. This salt spray has proven to be good to my hair- it tames the 'fly away's' you get after you've washed your hair, it fixes hair in place better than hairspray, it makes my hair look fuller and healthier, and it also holds in backcombing really well. So many positives, and its so easy to use, I just spray and go.
Another product that I'm loyal to is the trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I can always rely on this concealer to do the job of covering blemishes and redness on my t-zone, and it does it well on the cheap too.
I'm also driven to the Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer. In all honesty though, I don't think this product makes it as a concealer, but it sure does work perfectly as an everyday highlighter. Its of a thin consistency which is useful for using over my concealer without it looking cakey. Sometimes when I can't be bothered with my concealer I just dab some of this under my eyes and I'm good to go.
Moving on to the first of a string of Maybelline products, I really like the Color Tattoo's. I have a good few of these because they're really handy to use when you're getting ready fast. I smudge some over my lid and change the intensity using less and more product where necessary. Again its another simple solution for when you can't be bothered, and it lasts for ages!
My second Maybelline product is their whole collection of Color Show polishes. They're so cheap, yet are of a brilliant quality. I have most of this collection and the consistency of the polishes are all really good, and the formula doesn't separate in the bottle either. I can't explain how much I think these are such great value for money, you can't go wrong at £3 a polish.
My final Maybelline product has to be the Volume Express Mega Plush Mascara. I feel like this product is completely overlooked and out shined by the likes of the Falsies, but this product has been brilliant for me. I have quite long eyelashes and I'm really just looking for something that'll make them more defined, rather than something that'll make them longer. Therefore this mascara is a great choice for me, it thickens my lashes and extends them a tiny bit and lifts them up, which is all I need!
So that was my list of drugstore products that I'll definitely repurchase again and again. I feel like I have so much more to say about them (as always) even though I've provided pretty long explanations, but there you have it! Do you have any of these products? What products from the drugstore would you repurchase?

Adding a nautical twist to an outfit hasn't just become a one time thing for me. Once I started I couldn't stop spying, buying and styling stripes in my everyday wear.
It was earlier this year when I spied a nice striped long sleeved top in New Look for super cheap, I quickly decided that this would be good for me so I bought it. Unknowingly I entered the world of nautical brilliance and I ended up purchasing every striped item.
Stripes fit perfectly into my favourite monochrome looks, my outfits basically focus around black jeans, or a black or monochrome skirt. When I don't know what to wear I know I'll be totally fine, because I have an array of striped shirts and tops to choose from that I know go perfectly well with any bottoms... I guess its kind of a fashion safety net!
Another reason why I adore stripes is that they can be dressed down, or up, or can even be worn professionally if paired with the right skirt. I love to pair them with my converse, my chelsea boots, my sandals, my heels... they look good with pretty much everything. I love stripes that much that I've even delved into the world of striped interior design. Too much? I don't care!
How do you feel about striped style? What would you class as your "fashion safety net?"

Everyone has their favourite films for their favourite reasons... mine happen to be those that have inspired me fashion or makeup wise. You'll probably find me lusting after items of clothing after watching a really good film... Here are my top five and why.
1.The first film will probably come as no surprise to anyone, it being The Devil Wears Prada. This film can't be described in any way other than fabulous, and I always just end up watching it for the clothes rather than the story (its kinda dull after a million times). Is that weird? Even the opening scene grips me, when the ladies are shown getting ready, I was in love from the very beginning.
2.Makeup wise my main film influence has to be from Anna Karenina, I saw this in the cinema and wasn't that crazy about it, but when I got home I kept replaying Keira's amazing dancing in the ballroom scene. That makeup, and that dress... breathtaking! Keria's eyebrows inspire me.
3.Thelma and Louise is an iconic film with, of course, iconic fashion. This film inspired my style in the means of high waisters, cat eye sunglasses and boots. I adore the high waister and boots look, I even want to wear them in the summer when I should be swapping boots for sandals.
4.1997 Lolita is brilliant, and as well as being my favourite book, Lolita has inspired me to wear bardot tops and delve in to the world of pastel colours. I mostly wear black or white, but when I'm feeling brave and wanting to try something different, I'll move on to one pastel item, probably pairing it with black.
5.Lastly, when I'm feeling a little casual I'll wear something that Bella from Twilight would wear. Not too crazy about the series though, but every girl went through her phase. Bella's fashion is nice when I want to be more comfortable, I own a few flannel shirts and usually pair them with some blue jeans.
