The Velvet Shoes (and random rambles).

Hey, hey everyone. So this is me coming back from my mini-hiatus cause I've handed in two of my assignments, finally! And as a reward to myself I went on a small but stupendous shopping spree and bought these wondrous velvetty shoes which are seriously my new favourite addition to my wardrobe.

September Favourites.

Hey everyone. Welcome to my September Favourites! This month they're pretty product based which is a change for me I think because they're usually mixed. I'm coming up to my 6 Month anniversary of blogging, but I can't quite remember the date. Is that bad? The truth is I made this blog a while before I even posted anything, I was deliberating, you see.

Bonjourno people! My posts have been a little late recently because my boyfriend came to visit me (he's still here now), but I have managed to get some time to write about my weekly obsession... knee highs. 

September Mood Board.

So here it is, my awaited September Mood Board! I say awaited because I've been picking up bits of inspiration for anything Septembery, if that's a word, and I've had no idea how to piece them together properly. As an introduction to the series, I would like to say that this won't be a long post or anything too hardcore. I feel like a bigger impact is sometimes made from just having the pictures explain themselves, and its easier for me to produce too! I will, of course, be explaining things in a little paragraph, here it goes...

August Sum Up.

Happy September to you all! Here in England I'll be trying to buy the last of the summer clothes for bargains so that I can wear them next year, and I'll also be adding more layers to my outfits later in the month to protect me from cold weather (which I'm kind of looking forward to, TBH). 

Fashion Trend- Cateye Sunglasses.

Cateye sunglasses could be one of my new favourite fashion trends this summer.
I've seen these in films of course but I didn't actually become attracted to the so-called cateye sunglasses until last month when I spied some in Topshop. Not sure how they would look on me, I decided to go for a cheaper option and buy some for £3 off Amazon but they weren't really what I liked until I found a different set on Ebay.
Even though the first set were pretty cute looking, I just didn't have the right type of face for them (sadly!). But I spied these more modernized looking ones on Ebay and I have completely fell in love with them. They keep the classic  cateye style from the 60s but reinvent it for 2014! I'm going to be wearing these all holiday!

Summing up- July.

I'm taking a leaf out of many other bloggers' books and doing a little last month sum up post at the start of every month. Does that sound good? I plan to not talk (much) and just post a few pictures of my posts and the links to them. I think it'll be pretty cool! 





   

Holiday Clothes & Accessories Haul.

If you can't already tell by my tweets, I'm so damn excited to go to Turkey. I went on a shopping spree to Primark and a few other shops on Saturday and totally splurged on holiday stuff. Brace yourselves...

I've tried my best to find the links (some can't be found), and I stupidly took all the tags off of my clothes and misplaced receipts... so I can't remember all prices, apologies! I hope you enjoy :)

Accessories: I bought myself a few little things, and stuff that'll be quite important for travelling, and fashion items, of course.

I'm in a fantasy about Cateye sunglasses at the moment, I have two pairs, these being the more modern of the two, and these are definitely my favourite, I'll be wearing these to death. I purchased the large black bag for the plane, because I didn't want to use my uni. bag- it would get ruined! I'm pretty excited to fill it with all my rubbish. 

Shoes: I only bought two pairs because I think I'll survive on these and the ones I have currently. I do need to buy some flip-flops though, I'll let you know when I do!

Tops: Let the masses begin. I got so many great buys, everything so perfect for holiday!

Dresses/Playsuits: I really surprised myself here. I usually steer towards black but totally changed and went towards a little bit of colour.

Shorts & Bikini's: I still have more of these to buy because I've grown out of all of my old ones. I'm looking for some mint green bikini's next I think.

I adore the back of the black bathing suit, and the front embellishment on it.
This ends the holiday haul. I still have a few things to get I think. If anyone has an idea of a nice Mint Green Bikini then I'd love it if you let me know!
