Today I'm talking about how I'm going to be looking after my skin when I'm on holiday. Of course, lots of baby oil will be necessary, since I'm recently obsessed with the stuff!
I've been using E45 like crazy these past few weeks, so this will be a big element for my holiday skin. To be honest, even my trusty The Body Shop body butters have gone out of the window, even though they're just as creamy. I plan on using E45 after showers and before bed so that my skin gets as much hydration as possible.
On the mornings and during the day I'll be using sun cream so I don't weaken the product by using E45 as well. I still haven't decided what sun cream I want to use (any suggestions?) because I'm not really 'in the know' on the whole SPF factor thing.
I'll of course be taking care of any dry skin using Suniana's Body Scrub Recipe, which is a new found love of mine. I'll be scrubbing every other day, which may seem a lot, but I am addicted to the stuff so why not? I've also grabbed myself an exfoliating mitt to see what that can do for my skin, I've never used one before.
And finally I'll be piling on the baby oil. Wasn't that crazy about baby oil until I got some to make a body scrub with, but now I use it every day after I moisturize to ensure my skin makes the most of my E45!
How are you going to be looking after your skin this summer?

I'm writing this post for two reasons, partly because I'm excited to share what I'm planning on taking, and secondly because I'm trying not to forget what to take!
It was a short notice decision to go to Turkey this August, so I've been manic trying to ensure I get everything I need to take before going. By the time this post is up, I'll be in Turkey a week tomorrow! As an obvious beauty freak I'm trying my best to ensure I take everything I need, and I'm trying to be completely realistic about the products and the volumes of products that I'm taking. Its fair to say I could be better.
Vosene 2-In-1 Anti Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner. Vosene is perfect for holiday because the pool will be doing all sorts of bad stuff to my hair. As a dandruff sufferer I swear buy this brand to help keep my scalp hydrated. Its a strong product, too, so it'll get rid of any awfulness like chemicals from the pool!
Johnsons Baby Oil. This stuff is brilliant for locking in moisture after you've moisturized. It has some other brilliant uses, like removing wax, and its also great to use in a body scrub, which leads me to my next point...
Suniana's Leg Scrub. I ran out of leg scrub recently and I've been dying to try Suniana's leg scrub recipe for ages, and I have to say, this stuff is brilliant. Its so similar to the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub, which I've also used and loved before, but I think this scrub is better. Its actually the first time my skin has been this clear of little bumps in a long, long time, and I'm so happy about it! I'm definitely taking this on holiday.
Gillette Venus 4 Pack Blades. I do plan on waxing before hand, but I'll be taking these to top up. I'll probably just take two blades with me, just in case. These are great for me as I get a good close shave without the annoyance of any moisture bars (I don't like them at all!).
The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel. As you may already know, The Body Shop is one of my favorite places in the world to buy brilliant products. I've decided I'm taking strawberry because Its sweet and refreshing.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner. This stuff has helped to clear my blemishes. I've been using this for a few weeks now so I'll definitely be keeping up with this regime on holiday. I'm persistent!
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I've posted about this recently, and yes, I love it. Its just so great to help take of makeup and refresh my skin, which I'll definitely be needing in 35 degree heat! I'll be taking heaps of this product, I imagine, just in case.
E45. With my skin being out in the sun, I would be silly not to take the trusty E45 with me. Even though I don't burn that often or anything, hydration will definitely be necessary. I'm planning on using this before evening meals, after sun cream isn't needed, and before I go to bed. I'll be using this on my face, too!
I think, and hope, that that's the list of my main products (barring sun cream, I haven't quite decided what I want yet, any suggestions?), I'll probably, for sure, find other bits and bobs to take with me and weigh down that heavy case even more.

The reason why I've not been eager to show you all my everyday foundation routine is a simple one- my foundation changes literally every day, depending on my mood! I thought I'd show you my favorite foundations and why I like them!
A Bit of Background.
Firstly, I'm not the type of person to pile on the foundation. Yes, I am a full coverage foundation lover but I don't tend to apply the stuff all over my face. I use a minimal (like seriously, minimal) amount and blend it into my t-zone very lightly with a stippling brush, and I then disperse any leftovers outwards.
Another point to make is that I change my product depending on my mood. If I can't be bothered I'll use a different one as to when I'm going on a night out, probably like most...
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, 125. If I feel like I want to look a bit more... tanned... I'll go for this one. I've been using this a lot recently because its summer and I don't take well to sunbathing much, so this adds some colour for me, as its a little darker than my natural skin tone.
MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation, NW20. This one is perfect for my skin! I always wear this on a night out, and when I feel self conscious. If my skin is feeling a little drab, I reach for this. Its a perfect match for me and wakes my face up.
Avon Mattifying Foundation, Ivory. I'm always loyal to Avon, and this product does not disappoint me in any way. This is my favorite every day foundation, I can definitely say that this is the one I use the most often. It covers my skin well, its quite thin, like the MAC one, but at a little less cost.
What are your favorite foundations?
