Mini Topshop Sale Haul.

With the summer sale in full bloom, I can't do anything but buy a few things to fill up my wardrobe even more. Topshop sales are my favourite because I can purchase the products I've wanted for ages but could never afford. They may be a little out of season, but they're definitely affordable (kind of).

I've had my eyes on these MODEL Elastic Lace Up Boots since Christmas, and I actually had them on my Christmas list but then decided to get the Alabama Pull-on Chelsea Boots instead (they're actually in the sale now). Luckily these beautiful shoes were in the sale too, so I managed to get them. Brown shoes are hard to style sometimes, but since I wear a lot of black they're probably going to be perfect  for me.

The second item I got was the coat that I mentioned in my recent June Wishing post. This is such a nice coat and is going to be useful later on in the year or even when its raining. Its not the warmest of coats however, but I can overlook that because its summer anyway!

I also purchased this really cute shirt that I've also wanted for quite a while. I spotted it on the website a few weeks ago and really liked it, so when I saw it in the sale I couldn't do anything but buy it!

And last but not least, here's the ring I bought. Unfortunately one of the little black gems has fallen off. I'm not going to take it back because it was £1.50 in the sale, but if I bought it for the original price of £5.50 I definitely would be! Its such a shame because its such a nice little ring.

Have you bought anything from the Topshop sale?

My After Shower Essential 3.

Showers thankfully make getting washed ten times quicker than bathing. So to keep up with the speeding I like to make my after shower routine quick as well. Here are my after shower essential 3 products, and here's why they're so amazing!

VITAMIN E MOISTURE CREAM: I've talked about how much this product means to me before. I always find that after a shower or bath the skin on my face feels really tight, I imagine this is the case for most. The Vitamin E Moisture Cream is perfect for putting the hydration back into my skin, and quickly too!

MITCHUM POWDER FRESH DEODORANT: Spray on deodorants have never done it for me, I feel like they harm my skin more than anything, which is why I always prefer to use a roll on. The Mitchum Powder Fresh Deodorant is great for when you want to feel really fresh after your shower, and it smells like talcum powder which I love.

SATSUMA BODY BUTTER: The Body Shop have an amazing range of body butters and scents that I love. Recently I've been using satsuma because I've been fancying a fruity scent which makes me feel fresh and clean!

That sums up my range of after shower essentials, what are your favorite three products to use after shower time?

June Wishing.

My wishlist always starts because I end up looking through magazines, websites and blogs constantly for about two hours and lose track of time. During those two hours I end up establishing a good list of things that I really want... but probably don't need. Here they are!

The first thing I've had my eyes on are some wooden sunglasses. I saw these in July's Elle this month and honestly I'm in love. I'm not really one to buy sunglasses either, so when I lusted after them it came as quite the surprise!

Another item that I'm lusting after is an amazing burgundy bikini in Urban Outfitters. I really like all of the swim stuff that I've seen from urban, and I've had my eye on that one for a while now. I don't even have any holiday plans but I feel like I have to have it anyway.

The third item that I'm crazy about is this parka from Topshop, which I actually went out and bought yesterday in the sale. Its another item that I've had my eye on for absolutely ages and I finally gave in and bought it, with no regrets.

I wasn't too fond of Kurt Geiger until I went in the Newcastle shop a few weeks ago. I spied some really nice shoes and since then I've been on the website a few times. I had a look and I'm really fond of these SADIE Black Carvela shoes. They'd look so nice with my new coat and black jeans.

And last but not least, my list wouldn't be complete without a nail polish. This month I want the Topshop Peachy Bottom Matte Nail Polish, I've seen a few posts about this polish online and I'm keen to try it. I'm really embracing the matte polish look and bought a black matte one yesterday too, which again was purchased with no regrets!

Cool Summer Day - OOTD.

Today was one of those days where it was boiling in the sun but quite cool in the shade, so I needed to be practical with my outfit because no-one likes to be cold! This is what I wore...

I have this lovely bardot top that I got from Topshop, I believe that it is now in the sale which sucks for me but not for you! I paired this with the famous Topshop Joni Jeans... I honestly love these jeans I never take them off.

Because I was wearing jeans I wanted to put some summer into my outfit by pairing it with these sandals and this bag. Both from Urban Outfitters, I love these two items paired together, but sadly I don't think Urban sell these anymore.

Here is the final look for my outfit. I couldn't fit the shoes in but there you have the top half! What is your favourite outfit for days where its sunny but cool?

Natural Everyday Eye Makeup Look #1.

Today I'm going to show you how I create one of my favourite everyday makeup looks. For my day to day eye makeup, I prefer to use shadows that will enhance my eyes and make them seem more defined, but I don't want my eyes to seem too defined as it may be inappropriate.

STEP 1: I'll use an eyeshadow primer to start off with, which helps me create the base. With this look, I like to use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden. It creates a light base which provides a little extra needed brightening to my eyes. I just apply this product really lightly on to my lid with my index finger and any left over product goes underneath my bottom lash line too.

STEP 2: I then take my trusty Naked Basics Palette by Urban Decay and work in a thin layer of the Naked 2 shadow to my lid and crease, avoiding my inner corners. This creates a really good base combined with the primer.

STEP 3: Using Buck from the Naked 1 Palette by Urban Decay, I work this product from the middle of my lid to the outer corner and blend it nicely in with the other products.

STEP 4: For the final step I take Scene by MAC and work that lightly into my crease, outer corner and lower outer corner of my eyes to create some depth. I finish this off with some black mascara, and maybe highlighter if I feel like I need it!

And there you have my natural everyday eye makeup routine. Its one of many, however, and I plan to share my other natural looks with you in the near future too!
